Experience historic Hampshire with the wonderful cathedral city of Winchester, a nostalgic railway journey, Jane Austen heritage and an iconic gin distillery.

Day 1

Travel to Winchester for a 4 night stay

Day 2

Today we will visit the characterful historic city of Salisbury, home to a magnificent cathedral with Englands tallest spire, before heading on to the picturesque town of Romsey with its winding streets and a magnificent Norman Abbey. If time allows a drive by of Stone Henge will be included.

Day 3

Discover the historic streets of King Alfreds ancient capital of England, Winchester. After a morning of exploring the afternoon will take us to Laverstone Mill, home of the Bombay Saphire Gin Distillery. The distillery showcases the care, skill and artistry behind every drop of Bombay Sapphire, and allows you to discover the flavours of the botanicals which make this gin so unique.

Day 4

Head to Alresford, a lovely Georgian town for a nostalgic trip on the Mid Hants Railway, also known as the Watercress Line. This afternoon relax in the peaceful hotel surroundings and take advantage of the hotels lovely leisure facilities.

Day 5

With a tummy full of gin and a head full of new discoveries it’s time for home!
